First, the first reason why schools should start later is because there is better attendance. When you don’t get enough sleep, you can’t always get to class on time, since you might sleep in or it’s hard to wake up to your alarm. That’s why classes should be delayed because you’ll actually get there on time. A school in Minnesota had less tardiness and better attendance when the school started later. This means that if schools start later, more students will get sleep. It will also lead to better attendance. Another reason why school should start later is because, a school in Rhode Island started school only 30 minutes later, it led to better attendance and not as many visits to the school nurse. This shows that not one school had better attendance
