Today we read out loud by taking turn reading the paragraph. We continued working on decoding the chapter titles and the secret messages in the books. As we were reading, students wrote down questions on the sticky notes.
During our lesson today, we were out of time. We could not do the character worksheet. Reading aloud was taking longer than I thought. I was rushing and we finished the two chapters just on time. I decided to do the character worksheet next time we meet. Teaching is unpredictable. Anything can happen even though we plan out well. When we read next time, I should pay attention on the page numbers and estimate how long it would take for students to read aloud. It would be faster if I read more but this time, I wanted to see
