There are three different types of learning styles: Auditory, visual and tactile. Auditory learners are those who process and understand information through hearing and listening. They store information by the way it sounds, therefore they can benefit from receiving verbal instructions rather than written instructions. It is essential that auditory learners learn aloud to have a clear understanding. This may be through hearing information or speaking it aloud. Auditory learners can prosper when they are at school and at work. It is important that these learners listen to their teacher or employer, and then follow up by taking notes to read aloud afterward to ensure their comprehension. Also, they can benefit from recording the lectures or meetings that they attend to later listen to them. The repetition of information through sound will greatly enrich the learning experience of auditory learners. These tips and skills will benefit the auditory learner in many ways since they learn best through speaking, hearing and repetition. …show more content…
They often imagine the context in their head to remember information; sight is primarily crucial because they need to visualize something in order to effectively learn and understand. School is a good place for visual learners to thrive. Visual distinctions to correlate with important information will help these students successfully learn.
