Do you know what imperialism is? Imperialism is a policy of extending a country's power and influence through diplomacy or military force. There is a lot of examples of imperialism, some of them are emperors taking over other kingdoms and expanding. To be able to take over other kingdoms you have to have a good military. Emperors can also be non forceful or forceful about it. Those are just some examples of what imperialism is. There are many kingdoms and groups that showed a lot of imperialism, but one group that showed the most was the British. The British took control over India in a very forceful way. When the British came over they told them that they had to throw away all of their cultural baggage and do everything the British said or did. They had to speak like British, dress like them, and work for them. India didn't want to fight them because there was a lot more of them and they had more powerful weapons.
