Although school is awful and dreadful, I must attend in order to be successful later in life. Over the past twelve years of coming to school, I seem to dread it more and more everyday. Many people have told me I must go to school and do my work to go to college and have a good career in the future. The people who push me through school are or have gone through the same thing as me, so they know what they are talking about. Even though school is only for seven hours out of my day, there is always more work that needs to be done out of school in order to stay on task.
In order to attend school, I am required to get up early and show up on time. With that being said, I do not get all the amount of sleep I want or need. Not getting enough sleep is a problem because I start to have a bad attitude and then I do not want to push myself to finish anything or try my best at anything. Although I like to complain about not getting enough sleep and try to use that excuse for some of my problems or use it to explain why I am not performing at my best, I know I must attend school and realize the fact that everybody has to deal with the same sleep problems as me. Additionally, being on a sleeping schedule now will only get me more prepared for when I will be on a sleeping schedule

Going from being at school for seven hours to still having to complete some work out of school is very stressful and time consuming. Homework, although, is actually good for me because it helps me review and reteach myself about some of the lessons I learned that day at school. Also, homework will eventually set me up for success in the workplace. Getting extra work at a young age gets me prepared for what I will have to do in my career. With the career that I have chosen, I know there will be an abundance of times where I will be up late at night finishing extra work for the
