Who is to blame?
Envision you and your love both dying because you had to hide your love from your family and friends. This could affect you and everyone around you. This happens in Romeo and Juliet. The two fall in love and conceal their emotion because the two families hate each other. They then are forced with the decision to die or to live in pain. In this article I will be considering who is to blame for Romeo and Juliet's casualty. The two families Romeo and Juliet are from, the Montagues and the Capulets, hate each other and fought each other relentlessly. The Prince warned them that if they don’t stop fighting, they will be punished with death. They couldn’t pull themselves together to stop the warmongering. The fellow Romeo, then went to a ball where he met Juliet. One of the many assailants in the Capulet family, Tybalt, spotted Romeo at the ball and went to brawl with him. The leader of the capulets, Lord Capulet, stopped him because everyone was having an enjoyable at the ball. Tybalt was kind of like the ring leader on the Capulet side who kept all the fighting going. He made fun of Montagues and hated them with his whole heart. This led to him battling Romeo, on the day Romeo married Juliet in secret. Romeo wanted to be friends with him because now, they were family. Tybalt then killed Mercutio, which was one of Romeo’s best friends. This made Romeo mad, and Romeo made a dumb decision and decided to fight Tybalt. Tybalt and Romeo both knew that one of them was going to die in the fight, if not both of them. Romeo finally got an advantage and killed Tybalt, which led to Romeo being banished from their city for life. This caused great grief for both of the families, and especially Juliet.
