The tragic ending of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare can be blamed on many individuals. Lord and Lady Capulet and Lord and Lady Montague can be blamed because of the long lasting feud both families did not want to end with each other. Some people blame the Nurse because she knew the relationship between Romeo and Juliet and did not try to stop it. Many people blame Friar Lawrence because of how involved he was in the relationship between Romeo and Juliet. Friar Lawrence married them in hopes of ending the feud between the both families. Not once did Friar Lawrence try to stop the relationship, even when Romeo was banished from Verona. Sunday evening Romeo meets Juliet at a feast the Capulet's planed and they fall in love each other similar to love at first sight even though both of them were well aware of the feud both of their families had against each other. Later that night on Juliet's balcony Romeo and Juliet agree to meet early and get married as stated on Act 2 scene 2 line 996. Which is a bit childish considering the fact that they met only hours ago. Early Monday morning Romeo goes to Friar Lawrence's cell and asks him to marry Juliet and himself to which Friar Lawrence is hesitant at first but then agrees and marries them. Monday afternoon, after the wedding, Romeo was banished from Verona by the Prince because he had killed Tybalt who had killed his best friend Marcutio because Tybalt wanted to fight Romeo as seen in Act 3 scene 1 line 1590 to line 1715. Later that evening once Juliet heard about Romeo being banished she goes to Friar Lawrence's cell and tells him that if he does not figure out a plan to get her and Romeo together that she will kill herself.
