What a is racist? A racist is an individual or group who shows or feels separation or partiality against individuals of different races, or who trusts that a specific race is better than another. A racist can also display discrimination and prejudice against individuals of different races, or who trusts that a specific race is better than another. Racism is what encounter by different races that are not consider the superior or inferior. Although slavery and segregation have been done away with, racism in America still exist. Thus, causing Racist America today. In the article, there was a study done on job applicants, and whether it made a difference if you had a “white” or “ethnical” name. Studies showed that individual who had “white names” would have a fifty percent more chance of being called back by the employer. On the other hand, the black applicant had to have more job experience to receive the same position as the white applicant. I consider this study proof white privilege.
