Gay marriage is becoming more and more accepting in the United States. Many believe that being gay is wrong while others believe that being homosexual is something that just happens. There's is no wrong in being homosexual and everyone should be accepted without being judged on their race, religion, ethnicity, or sexual preferences. Everyone is human we all have a beating heart and a brain so we should all be accepted and thought of as equals. The first amendment secures the fact that Americans as a whole have the right to be homosexual if we choose to be. Everyone has very different beliefs on what is right and what is wrong.

There's a 'religious group' that petitions very heavily against homosexual marriage and homosexual relationships in general. This religious group is very disrespectful. They often petition at soldiers and service men's funerals saying 'god hates fags' and equally spiteful words. They parade around with their posters saying hateful comments and hurtful words. No body wants them around saying those things especially at a funeral for a fallen service man but like homosexuals they are also protected under the first Amendment because freedom of religion and petition.
