In the myth of perseus, the theme of cunning and cleverness is represented by the way perseus solves his conflict. In the beginning, he goes off to find medusa to kill her and bring her head back as a gift for his mom’s and the king’s wedding.
Along the way he met Hermes who told him that before he attacked medusa he must first be properly equipped.
