My tutee strengths include reading fluency she can read aloud and smoothly and her interests include she likes watching monster high cartoons, anything related to Disney, has a pet cat named "precious" as well as four birds, goes to boys and girl club after school and finally she is currently a yellow belt in karate. One of the new interests that she has currently discover is cheer leading. A.S. needs revolve around main idea and supporting detail. She does know what the main idea of a story is when read to her but she leaves out many details of the story when she is responding. She also has a problem in writing she uses incorrect words and need a little bit more help in spelling.

1. Input: I will provides the information needed for students to gain the knowledge or skill through lecture
2. Modeling: Once the material has been presented, I will use the material to show students examples of what is expected as an end product of their work
3. Checking for Understanding: Determination of whether students have "got it" before proceeding. It is essential for student to practice doing it right so the teacher must know that students understand before proceed to practice. If there is any doubt that the student did not understood, the concept/skill should be retaught before practice begins.

VIII. GUIDED PRACTICE- DAY 1 read the key vocabulary and go over with the student. Summarize- to tell a shortened version in your own words giving only the most important information. Supporting detail definition: Detail to support the main idea and so on. Next, I begin by reading Frozen , “All I want for Christmas” pg.219 then will fill out the 5 W’s and H chart.
