I. Portfolio Essays:
What I have learned from the portfolio essays were from chapter 12/13 how to motivate, invigorate and innovate the students in the classroom. Also, what type of materials should be available to the students and the activities the students would do.
Another one is from chapter 2 the portfolio essay I picked was about multiple intelligences. It shows the difference between Gardner and Sternberg theories. Also in the portfolio essay it asks us how we feel we are about our multiple intelligences and our evaluation of those which it helps because it will occur when teaching.

Philosophy:
My personal beliefs on the purpose of education are to educate the students at any level, also to learn and make yourself a better educated person in society. I believe that everyone the parents and teachers and other students are all there to help the other students and they are all there to make a group effort to improve the student’s life as being educated.
My personal beliefs on the role of student in the classroom is for the students to help other students when they are behind or they need some assistance. Also I think the student should not be disruptive in the classroom which would be making it hard for others to learn.
My personal beliefs on role of teacher in the classroom is they should help everyone and they should teach the students what they are supposed to. Also I think that the teacher should be equal to all of the students in their classroom when helping and answering questions.
My personal beliefs on role of parents in the classroom is that they are supposed to back up the teacher but not over step in the classroom. Another way is to guide the student when the teacher is not at home with them also to encourage and hold the students accountable for schoolwork.
