All parts of Brittany’s computer can be found online on Amazon, links will be provided down below. The PC Brittany is interested in having is a productivity/entertainment PC. The components of the PC were picked based on her activities and needs while using the computer. She says she’s in grade 12 and does have a computer, but isn’t very computer savvy. For personal interests she likes to use Pinterest and Facebook, also watching online movies and TV shows and downloading a lot of music. For school she researches information for projects, presentations and word processing. Based on these preferences I decided to put together a PC that is capable of running applications smoothly, good amount of memory and storage for her needs, above average graphics cards for HD movie streaming, and decent cooling systems for prolong use of the computer. …show more content…
This printer is included with colour printing, scanning and a copier. These 2 purchases will help Brittany for her school work tremendously. The motherboard of choice is an MSI Computer LGA supported with DDR3 and USB 3.0, this motherboard can support the RAM sticks that was listed in the components, also with the 3.0 ports that can be used for her peripherals of choice. To power the PC the EVGA 500 W1 is what I think is most optimal and cheapest for her situation since there aren’t many components to be powering anyways. Or at least components that don’t require much power. To hold all of the parts, the PC case VSK 4000e ATX Mid Tower is the choice here because of the space it offers for the parts that are listed. Since there aren’t many parts to begin with it should be able to fit the case very well. The fans accompanied with the PC is the Corsair Air Series Quiet Edition, the 2 fans will control the internal airflow and external air flow to maintain the temperatures that the PC need to run
