To T-ROY (whom it may concern),
I’m just sending this email to highlight our frustrations throughout the entire landscaping and concreting process.
Initially, we requested a quote from T-Roy Landscaping Services mid 2016. Noting that the estimate took approximately five months to arrive, I recall confirming with Troy via telephone if the price included everything required to complete the job i.e; rubble, the appropriate reinforcement, box drain etc. For some reason Troy was unable to open his laptop computer; therefore, after repeating the quote over the telephone he confirmed that it did. There was further negotiation to the start date; however, we agreed upon the date three weeks from the conversation.
Sometime later, I requested a landscaping quote from Troy. Whilst I was very specific with my request, I asked Troy to prepare the soil, clear the side of the house of debris, level the front yard, measure the back yard and supply grass to the requested area. To the best of my knowledge I was very clear that we would lay the grass ourselves in our own time. A verbal quote of $1700-$1800 was provided of which I agreed too.

I fail to understand that an estimation mistake becomes my problem. Furthermore, there was an under supply of grass (approximately 20 square meters) which to my mind supports the loam shortfall. This leads to my second point of frustration, communication. Upon identifying the shortfall I spoke with Troy and he said he would take care of it. Once notified of the delivery date, my husband and I waited home on a Saturday morning for a grass order that was never coming as the order was never submitted. If it wasn’t for me chasing Troy, we would have waited all day with no explanation as to what was
