DBS has listed the following requirements for its new office in Sierra Vista, AZ. Connection to thirteen spaces/offices with the provision for up to fifty users at any one time including personnel and visitors who bring their own device (BYOD). It must also include one network drop per office. The facility has exterior masonry walls with interior walls made of metal studs/ dry wall, and a drop ceiling suitable for running cables or placing devices for connectivity. The location for the set up will ne the storage closet located at the Northwest corner of the facility. For the router, the team has selected the Cisco 4431. The approximate cost of this router is $4,600. It has the power and security features to meet a small business’s networking requirements. This router has the capability of Power over Ethernet (PoE) to power Wireless Access Points (WAP), it includes four Gigabit Ethernet Ports, and dual power supplies.
