cn the growing IT organizations, end-user has access to all the vital resources of the organization all around the clock. Many users aren’t aware of the safety practices and methods to keep the information and the resources secure. The end-users are the ones who would mostly be attacked. IT organizations have started taking care of these security attacks by introducing Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), imposing tougher firewalls to obscure the breaches, adding an extra layer of security before accessing the resources. Organizations are introducing SETA (Security Education and Training Awareness) as a mandatory educational awareness program where every employee should go through (Hight, 2005, p. 3). SETA demonstrates the users on the possible security breaches and methods to control it. The awareness program is very much important to an organization and tells the users to put security as the main goal and should strive hard to keep their information safe as well as the firm’s data. Due to the breaches, huge amounts of money are being lost to the organizations. There are a few important topics that should be included in a SETA program. Organizations must state and explain the kinds of software a user can install on their machine as unknown software may enable the attackers to hack into the firm’s network and data resources. Additionally, the users should be asked to maintain and employ strict passwords for their login items (Sanghavi, 2015). A two-factor authentication must also be enabled for increased security. A SETA training should bring the possible malicious practices done by the attackers and demonstrate how they work in real time. SETA must provide documentation and good lecture on the best practices of the Internet and the negative impacts of the websites which are restricted at the organization
