Nurse leaders today are required to have effective communication skills that is used to influence and shape their organization’s vision and mission. To make this happen, leaders need to know their role and the role of the nurses. Know what they are trying to communicate to the staff. Research and know what communication tool will work best to deliver the message they are trying to send. To communicate disaster relief and spirituality in nursing, nurse leader need to make sure they have a communication plan in place.

Disaster can come at any time and nurses are required to be ready. When patients are in the hospital, they are less distracted from their daily life activities. That is the time when they start to think about their spiritual life.
