It was a late Friday night and Brooke went into Morton’s the Steakhouse to buy some food. As she was walking in she saw all the workers she knows there, Joe the manager came and said hello along with a lot of other people. As Brooke and Joe were talking Joe gave Brooke a Job Application so she can work there. Joe thinks she is 19 but she is only 14. Brooke really wants to work and quit school but without school you can't get a job because you need all of your diplomas and certificates with graduating. Brooke doesn't know what to say to Joe, should she take the job or forget about it and show Joe who she really is instead of lying straight to Joe’s face. I hope that doesn't happen. She was praying that everything could go okay and the way she wants it to go it would be good.
Who doesn't have a job at age 14, a lot of people don’t i'm very responsible I guess I love to see me to start my own business someday. As I was waiting for my ride for work I was listening to my music until this hug truck blows past me and it smelled really bad, then a garbage truck blows past me then i got really bad the smell came right my way. Then I went inside to my house and waited in there for my ride to come and pick me up. I was about to gag when the garbage truck flew past me. As my ride cam I had butterflies in my stomach like really bad ones, I'm like I can't do this I said to my friend. She was comforting me anyway that she can, cheer me up in ways that made me happy, you can do this Brook I believe in you. I really did not know If I wanted to work, will I like it or not really? I kept worrying, it was like having a nervous breakdown, having your face get all cherry red hot, it was difficult to go in there all red hot my face was, nut you have to have confidence so maybe I will. As going up the stairs in Morton’s Brook was the only one that was dressed neat,cute, and specify. The others have to change in there stuff, So Bartenders have to wear white shirt, black pants, black vest, and try to dress cute looking. Not everyone looks as good as the women do. You can get preferred seating or choice of a seat. When it comes to the holiday season they do like a four course meal which is thirty five dollars per a person, so instead of having your bill cost a lot get the special it's more affordable. They do private parties, special occasions, private dining. If you got a birthday or say a anniversary celebrate it with us you will get a picture in a frame that says congrats and a special meal for a good price. They will also put a candle in your desert, and possible sing to you. Everyone loves when they get good seating and a special menu written up with your name on it and the date of your celebration. Monday thu Friday we are open until 10 other days we are open until 11. Get good seating at the bar and give the bartenders tip left from right cause they work hard. So far I like this job and i'm glad I took it on. It's fun and the workers make you laugh and stuff its really cool to be an employee at Morton's the Steakhouse. I'm not all lonely at the front desk either I made some friends which is a great
