Persuasive essay Growing up in a single parent family has been viewed different for many years. It seems that being raised by one parent is impossible to many, over decades it has become usual. Today’s society children have grown to become emotionally stable and successful even if they had one or two parents to show them a rocky road. The problem lies in the difference of children raised by both mother and father versus by single parents. Do children need both parents? Does a young girl need a mother figure? Would the government provide help for single parents? What role do stepparents and stepsibling’s play? People should understand that raising a child does not rely on the structure of a family but on the process or values that are taught to children as they learn to mature. People assert that the only way for children to gain full emotional and behavioral skills is to be raised by both parents. A single parent would have to work full-time to be able to provide for themselves and their children. They also have to make time to offer and have the amount of energy of emotional time for the well being of their child. However, it may seem impossible, but it can be done. Not all the families have the chance to have a healthy structure. There is an importance for society and government aids to notice structural differences and take action.
