Should the legal drinking age be lowered from 21 to 18 to allow younger people to buy and consume alcohol at a younger age. This has been an issue for pretty good amount of time because everyone who has a say in making the laws all have different opinions that they should. This issue affects everyone in different ways. This is a very large issue because it is an issue that needs to be dealt with. America did experiment with this issue they lowered the drinking age to 18 to see how this would affect america but they found that they didn't think america was ready for a change in the age so it was raised again because teenagers were drinking too much and doing activities that put pedestrian in danger. There is some pros and cons about this issue, also there are many different solutions for this issue. There a good amount of pros about lowering the drinking age from 21 to 18. First it could decrease binge drinking all over the united states this is a pro because this would decrease the amount of alcohol deaths in america. If this law was passed people would be a lot more likely to follow this law because they won't be pressured into into

drinking at too young of an age. Another pro would be it would definitely reduce the amount of illegal drinking in colleges this is a pro because it would allow kids to learn their limits at a young age also it would teach them more responsibility at such a young age by allowing them to drink.
This issues definitely has some cons on the drinking age being lowered. First a normal persons brain doesn't fully develop until the age of 25 and if you add the effects of alcohol into the mix it could really affect the person's brain development. Also kids would definitely drink more because they would want to know what the feeling is like to drink. Also there is a high risk of alcohol poisoning because their young bodies are not used to putting that poison in their body. Lastly, there would be a very high risk of drinking and driving because teenagers don't know when to say no and they drive even when they think they are fine but in reality they are not. There are many different opinions on the topic of lowering the drinking age from
