Racism is an issue we still are facing nowadays, in this film we could watch since the beginning how people reacted when seeing a white woman with a black girl at school. Additionally, it must had been difficult for a child to be discriminated just because of her skin color; when the teacher asked a question, she did not give Sandra the opportunity to answer even though she was rising her hand. In the scene when the teacher man hits Sandra, I cannot imagine what I would have done if that would happen to any of my two children, I felt so much anger.
