We the teenagers of this society have minimum power of the things that we should have the right to do. We are forbidden to do many things until we are 18 or until we have our guardian signature.

When holding truths to be evident to who we are and to demonstrate what characteristics which represents who we are. An example would be being able to get body jewelry or tattoos. In our country we are not able to get either one of these until we are 18 or until we have a guardian signature. Being 18 does not mean you are an adult, it is just a number. In reality you are still a teenager. We believe that once you are at least, we owe it to ourselves to be able to make some sort of decisions as to who we are and how we show who we are.

In this time period, it is already difficult enough to be who you proceed to be who you want to be. To have the right to show part of you through body jewelry and body art. Us as teenagers only have the right to dress the way we choose and to style our hair the way we choose to. In reality, that is not that much of the freedom we would want to have. If you put schools into consideration, then you really do not have that much of a freedom at all. Many public and private schools tend to have a dress code based upon administration. Once you add your schools into consideration, in reality all you only have the right to style your hair the way you want to. There is not much of a difference between the ages of and 16 and 18. By lowering the age from 2 years, it gives us the teenagers the right to be able to make some more decisions based upon what we choose to
