In the diary of Anne Frank , a 15 year old girl ,who lived during the holocaust,expresses her feelings into her diary instead of keeping it to herself. Also, in Dear Miss.Breed many people write about their experience in world war 2 . In some cases, people express how they feel like in their attitudes or in some kind of art. As these examples show having an emotional outlet can resolve conflict.

One reason why having an emotional outlet is that it can relieve stress. It can relieve stress in many ways. In the diary of Anne frank she relieved some of her stress by writing in her diary and talking about her life at the time (11). Also, in the letters that were sent to Miss.Breed people their relieve their stress by writing to Miss.breed (50). This shows that it can relieve stress.

Not only that it can relieve stress, but it can distract you from the problem. It can distract you from the problem by focusing on something else (Nunez 1). Also, in the boy in the striped pajamas Bruno plays in the house because he wants to forget about that he left is house in Berlin ( ). This is how having an emotional outlet can distract you from the problem.

What if the problem is that the person isn't analyzing the problem with a clouded mind?(Higuera) What if Anna didn't have an open mind of things that happened to her? If Anne Frank didn't have a open mind that she would have not listened to what her father would tell her about going into hiding.What if the people from Dear Miss Bree did have a clouded mind?
