Guns can provide people with protection and safety but due to the lack of law enforcements, guns end up in the hand of ill minded people. First off to fix the mass shooting the US government should perform medical checkups before licensing someone, additionally need grant states the right to revoke licenses, the government also needs to eliminate private sellers and require all guns to be registered. If the US wants to be even stricter about gun regulation, then US should follow in the footsteps of Australia and have a gun law reform, like the Australians the US should federally fund gun buybacks, have large-scale voluntary surrenders, and ban importation firearms. It can be seen that after Australia went through its gun law changes, there has been a drastic decrease in number of firearm homicides and deaths, so why cannot US do the same?
End of the day, we want to make sure that lives of innocent men, women and children are not in danger and people are safe no matter where they are, along with to make sure that guns are only in the hands of people who wants protect and serve the country.

In this case we will be using mass shooting which according to FBI’s definition means “4 or more random deaths”. According to CNN, since 1997, other well developed countries like Switzerland and Germany has had 3 mass shooting, UK has experienced only 1 mass shooting, and Australia has had zero mass shootings…The US?US in 2014 alone has had 3 mass shootings, and since 1997 the US has had 51 mass killings. The US also has had a 401 firearm homicides per 10 million people which compared to Switzerland and Germany is an enormous amount of homicides.
