Soundtrack of My Life

“Stressed Out” by Twenty One Pilots describes my freshman year because that is around the time the song was released and when school had started. The title of the song just basically describes my life of just being stressed.The line in the song that says “But now i'm insecure and I care what people think.” That is relatable to me because it was the first year of high school and that is when everything is hectic. I wanted to make sure I looked presentable to everyone,that I would fit in with everything.I wanted to make sure the teachers would like me,and I had to make sure I had at least one friend in each of my classes.I’m pretty shy sometimes to new people so all the loud and outgoing people already found their cliques.I had to try to find all my classes and look for the easiest route to that class.I also had soccer tryouts after school for two hours so that was very tiring. I was about seven or eight years old so it was hard for me to grasp the idea of my brother being gone for a long period of time.When he did leave to go to the army I refused to talk to him on the phone when he called and I was just upset for a little bit.I have two brothers I wasn't alone at home when my parents were at work I was just closer to the one that happened to leave.I really missed him,I don't know why I didn't want to talk to him, now that I am older I should’ve since that probably made him feel bad for leaving.But as if today he is living in Florida and once he finishes his last semester he is moving back down to Connecticut so everything worked out pretty well. Therefore when I hear this song it reminds of my brother serving his country and myself missing
