Why I Want To Pursue A Nursing Degree

The particular field I have chosen is oriented toward obtaining my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree at UAB. Once I finish my pre-nursing studies and is accepted into the School of Nursing at UAB, I will then pursue a major in neuroscience while minoring in Psychology. Eventually, I will become a Neuroscience Nurse at UAB and practice at the UAB hospitals. Once I achieve my BSN degree, I plan on joining the Army National Guard in which I will then pursue officer candidate school to become an Army officer. Thereafter, I will continue my pursuit to become a Neurosurgeon and obtain my MS Psychology. Following my dreams will not only enable me to help myself but following my dreams will also help me to help others in need. I am definitely not headed toward these fields of my interest just for the money. There is a bigger and brighter picture of my driven passion. That is, to do for others before I do for myself.
