I believe in helping others. For this reason, all of my work and volunteering experiences were in people-oriented industries. For the very same reason, I became a Teaching Assistant (TA) for an introductory MIS course COMM 205, where I have combined my knowledge of business technology and my passion for customer service. As I was reading through the job posting, I realized that this position was fairly similar to what I have been doing so far as a TA. I could clearly see how I would put my experience in teaching and knowledge of technology into use at TRIUMF. Looking at the lists of qualifications for the position, I’m confident that my education and work experience have equipped me with the necessary skills to succeed in this role.
