The future is uncertain for me, but it is important to develop a career plan that will provide financial support and personal fulfillment over the course of my professional life. To make this transition from school to a professional career, I am going to plan a plan that will help me stay focused and motivated in meeting my goals and objectives. In the next paragraphs, I will explain my ten-year plan for my professional career and incorporate some of Mr. Bolles ideas in how to do this process.

My skills and knowledge would help me tremendously at this time. I would use my knowledge of how to run the company by ordering product, recovering, resetting the store for different seasons, payroll, and hiring. I am currently learning this by shadowing my manager for the intern class this semester. So it shows that what I am doing now will help ten years from now in my career path.

In the Future

Ideally, I would like to end my career as a CEO of the Dollar Tree or a large well-known company. I hope that by then the economy will not be so sluggish and I would still have a job. The book we had to read gives us resources to use in order to keep our income a float. What I found so interesting is if it takes too long during the job hunt just catch up on our sleep.[4] I guess I can see that, because we work so hard and never sleep. Taking much needed rest would be the best, so we can be ready for the next interview and get that job. I will not worry about unemployment. I will stay in the positive and believe that at this time I will be working for a well off company looking into retirement.
