“There are all these moments you think you won't survive, and then you survive.” A Long Walk To Water, Linda Sue Park. The factors that made survival possible for Salva were Persistence, Famiy, and Hard Working.
An important factor that helped salva survive was persistence. Salva needed to walk across the desert in order to get to the refugee camp and there was a lot of challenges. “The worst moment of the day, Salva stubbed his toe on a rock.” Salva kept going even when he didn’t want to, he never gave up and he achieved his goals. As you can see Persistence is an extremely important factor in order to survive.
