. There are many different classifications of students in this class. Most all of the students have intellectual disabilities meaning they have significantly below average intellectual and adaptive social behavior, evident before age 18. A couple of the students have some type of health impairment weather it be wheel chair bound or having to wear braces on their feet. One student has a speech disorder along with having Intellectual disabilities. He can hear you talk and understand but he cannot communicate back. And a few of the students have Down syndrome.

2. This class is an after school program for MR high school students. It is a theater class that they go to every Monday at 4:00pm. During my visit I got to participate in some activities. When I first arrived we sat in a circle and did some warm up activities. First we stretched, and then we sang a song that required each person in the circle to do a dance move and everyone else to repeat it. After the warm up we moved into another room where they practiced their play that they will be putting on December 5th. The students were learning a song that had movement in incorporated into it. At the end of the class the students where aloud to give shout outs to anybody they thought deserved a shout out for that day. A student even gave me a shout out for being there! It was really sweet.

The students and teachers are similar to regular education classroom in that one teacher leads the classroom. They also have routines like in a regular classroom that you would see. They have to do things like raise their hands when they want to speak and instruction is differentiated similar to a way that a teacher would differentiate a
