I believe we stop the cycle of bullying by involving counselors, parents, teaches and principals

to be part of the solution. Although bullying has been around for a very long time, I think

technology is making the problem worse. Children are able to be more secretive or

anonymous and spread the rumors or gossip a lot quicker through texting, messaging and

social media. Stopping the cycle first starts at home with the parents. Keeping an eye on

what your child's internet and phone activities are by monitoring them closely. If the parent

keeps an open line of communication with their child about what is happening at school,

they may be more willing to discuss issues at school as they arise with them. Also, how a
