Romeo and Juliet

On September, 05, 2013, 14 year old Tomas and his 13 year old girlfriend Jayden ran away. They took a Ford explorer with a half tank of gas and $100. Two weeks before school they had to go to different schools which may have been the cause of running away. “The day she left, I no longer supported this relationship,” said Tomas’ mother, Kelly Drinkwine. Their parents had concern of the relationship of saying “they were getting too serious”. Some people gave them the label of “modern Romeo and Juliet”. Romeo and Juliet may “were getting to serious,” as well by getting married two days after their meeting. But them meeting lead to their death, or did something else lead to it. Romeo and Juliet may have been “Star crossed lovers”, but there are many reasons for their death.

Romeo never wanted to go anywhere, but as Mercutio said to Romeo, “Gentle Romeo, we must have you dance.” (II.iiii. 14) Romeo was still sad about Rosaline. Mercutio made Romeo go to the party only to get over Rosaline, and find a new, better girl. Friar Lawrence isn't very innocent in this story either. There are many things in this story Friar should have not done. Friar Lawrence married Romeo and Juliet, fake Juliet's death, and kept many secrets. Friar Lawrence warned Romeo by saying, “These violent delights have violent ends.” (II.vi.1) Friar Lawrence was saying the even though marriage is a great, wonderful thing, this one will end terribly. Friar Lawrence or Mercutio might have not been the ones, it could have been the family feud. The feud between the family’s brought Romeo and Juliet to their death bed. Tybalt said angrily, “Tis he, that villain Romeo.”(I.v.74) Romeo was a villain to them and had Tybalt would do anything to destroy him. Out of everyone of the Capulets, Tybalt hated the Montagues the
