Have you ever loved someone enough to kill yourself for them? Or would you help two lovers get married in secret? Well, there are many different people that are to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, many say that their parents are the problem, or even Romeo and Juliet themselves. I believe that friar Laurence is to blame.

To begin with, Friar Laurence gave Juliet the sleeping potion, so everybody thought she was dead, including Romeo. Romeo wanted to be with Juliet so badly that he went to buy poison just to die with her. People say that Romeo and Juliet are responsible for their own deaths because they killed themselves. However, it isn’t their fault because if Friar Laurence didn’t give the sleeping potion, Juliet would still be alive.
