In a group setting it is important to communicate with each other about your feelings in a stressful situation. Often times, there are moments where you both might feel the same frustration and not communicate to one another because of the stress. For example, there was a time in my literature class where I had to do a group presentation that required us to pick a topic that was in our current society. The student that I was working with had disagreed with every topic that I picked mainly because she had opposing sides. Although it was a stressful situation because it took valuable time in completing the assignment, I suggested that we pick a topic that wasn’t as sensitive to our beliefs and values.
