The American Dream is the ability to live the way you want to live, as long as you work hard. Many people live their American Dream, but they did not just wake up and have whatever they want. In order to make the American Dream a reality, people have to work hard. They have to get a job, earn money, and sometimes even sacrifice a lot. Then, people can have a home and raise a family or take a different path and try to become rich and famous. Everyone has a different American Dream, but with hard work they can make it come true. I believe that anyone can make their American Dream come true. Whether someone just wants a roof over their head or a nice house and a family, anyone can live their American Dream. Many people live their American Dream, but they did not just wake up and have whatever they want. The American Dream is different for everyone. Some people just want to live a happy life. Some just want to have a good job and a family that loves each other. And some just want to be famous and travel the whole world and be rich. All of these dreams are different, but whatever it is, it makes that person happy and the life they want to live. People all have different thoughts on what the American dream is. This is my thought because, when I first started learning about this, my definition was to live a happy life. But you also have to work hard and achieve your goal on how you want to live. Some other people might think that it means to be free. If someone thought that the American dream means to be free when it really mean the ability to live the way you want to live, as long as you work hard. Both of these definitions would be similar. I say this because to be free you can do whatever you want and not being forced to do it, like making your own decision. And the real American Dream, you are making your own decisions on how you want to live. To me, it tells me that they are similar
