From the information given I predict that if Tyler and Brittany spend no money other than their house and car bills they will be in good financial standing. As most of us know this simply isn’t possible with all the factors that have to be adding in. By this I mean groceries, gas, clothes, and other necessities. Combining their car, truck, and house payments adds up to $2,577/month on just these three bills. After taking into consideration how much both of them make a month I would say if they wanted to live a simple country cheap life then they are on the right path. I would advise Tyler that maybe he should wait to get a big expensive truck until they can build up their combined credit and have some savings for emergencies. I would also maybe give them the idea of renting until they find where they world is going to take them because you never truly know where you’ll end up, so why chance it with a big mortgage? Personally, I would go for a two bedroom apartment close to both jobs or right in the middle if they aren’t close to each other.
If Tyler and Brittany decide they don’t want to take on this house payment and go with something more affordable it would almost double their savings after 2 years. This also depends on what they decide to do instead and where they want to be located. If they decided to move into a small apartment for let’s say 750$/month they would still save eleven hundred dollars a month and add $26,376 onto their savings. Taking on a home at this time in their marriage would be risky if something unexpected happened but something smaller would save the bank and give them enough to live the life they want
