I was asked by a local animation company to interview for a position with them for an upcoming project. As a demonstration, they asked that I present them planning for turning my favourite 1-2 min film/TV scene into an animation. I have chosen to a scene from Jessica Jones season 1 episode 3 called AKA It’s Called Whiskey, the name of the scene is radio call. The scene is about Walker sets up a radio interview for Shlottman so all can hear her experiences from her own mouth. During the interview, Hogarth speaks as if Shlottman is insane, but Walker defends the girl to her listeners, citing that in a world that has the Avengers, a man with telepathy is not that far-fetched. Walker begins to insult Kilgrave on the air, much to Jones' dismay and fear.

There are many similarities between the two scenes such as; physical attributes such as hair, eyes and clothing. The Go Animate character creation section allowed me to replicate her features quite well. Although some aspects were similar there also differences. The background has the same colouring. The differences between the scenes include; camera angles and shot types. Another main difference in the scene is the camera angle. Go Animate is a 2D animation creator, which means different camera angles cannot be applied. This has a significant effect on the ability for the animation to replicate the original. The original scene has a more facial expression that I cannot do in go animate as the program has a set of facial expression that we can pick on. The effect it will have on the scene is that it will not match up with the original scene as the facial expressions, the background and the camera angle make a difference to the
