The Amazing Sounds Of Band

The sounds that are made by bands can be absolutely astounding. Band is a very interesting thing and it can be amazing if you make it amazing. There are so many different things that you can do in band, there are even two different types of bands. One is Marching band and the other is Concert band.

Marching Band:
Marching band is where you have to play and march. Marching almost feels like a sport to most people because when you're playing you have to use your lungs and you have to march and marching can be a lot harder than you would think. When marching you have to make sure that you step right in beat with the music and make sure that your toes are up. You also have to keep your shoulders and your instrument …show more content…
Concert band is not as hard as marching band, but it still has its difficulties. Concert band is where you should be sounding much much better than marching band because you are just sitting in a chair instead of marching. Since you are sitting down you will be able to use your lungs to blow the air through your instrument much more than in marching band so than you can make much better sound. Most of the instruments that are in Concert band will be listed below as found at “Instruments of the Band” by Charles E. Craig.

Marching Band and Concert Band can both be very very rewarding if you work for it and it can be fun, but only if you make it fun.
