Released on September 19, 1984 the movie “Amadeus” tells the story of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Tom Hulce) a remarkably talented young Viennese composter who was said to be “god’s instrument.” Wolfgang although a prophecy during his time, had many enemies who felt extreme jealousy towards Mozart’s musical abilities. One of said “Enemies,” was the disciplined and determined Antonio Salieri. The rivalry between these two famous composers served as the main plot throughout the movie. During the opening scene of the movie, Slieri was seen saying “Show some mercy! I beg you…” The reason behind him saying this was the same reason that laid the foundation of the movie.
