Technology is always around from checking your phone in the morning to driving to work technology has been something that has changed the way we live our daily lives. It has made a tremendous contribution to our daily life and not only that but also in the workplace. One way technology has made a great impact in the workplace is by having better productivity. According to some sources, it shows that technology has made a great impact on the efficiency and increased productivity. Meaning that in the workplace, the changes in the workplace have been drastic, such as employees and employers being able to accomplish more within a short time period. In 1870s factories were using automatic signals, air brakes, and knuckle couplers on the railroads.Making the railroads safer and faster to travel and not only that, but transportation of goods made it much easier to exchange. Making the consumption of goods higher and the work opportunities got better and made more job available for people in the factories. Furthermore, the advancement in the technology of the Second industrial revolution sparked new forms ways to finish the work in the factories, this change shaped the way we use technology in the works we have today. Although technology is a huge role in the workplace, it has left also brought negative effects in the work industry.
