Recently, a mob of white folks tried to get their hands on the Accused Tom Robinson, while Mr. Atticus Finch who was protecting Mr Robinson only had a newspaper and his pipe. eventually the mob had left. The women who was beat was Mayella Ewell, daughter of Bob Ewell. He claims to of seen his daughter with Tom, and he saw him beating her, then he says he had scared him off. Instead of getting his girl to the hospital , he had got the sheriff. They claim Mayella was beaten “savagely”. According to the sheriff, her right side of her face was beaten.
