Have you ever read the book A Long Walk To Water by Linda Sue Park? Well, Salva one of the main characters faces challenges as he goes through his walk to water. Salva faced challenges before the war, during the war, and after the war.
First, before the war Salva couldn’t attend school all year round because in the dry season they didn’t have enough water. The novel says, “He could not attend the entire year, because during the dry season his family moved away from their village. In Africa there is very little water in the dry season, the water evaporates, so they move to another village where there is enough water. The dry season is a time period where there is little or no rain.
