Everybody faces challenges. In the novel A Long walk to water by Linda Sue Park, salva was running away from his village because of the war. And lost his family and left them. Then found uncle in the tribe he was walking with.

The factors that made survival possible for salva are, Hope Bravery Friends and family.
One factor that helped salva survive was hope “the soldiers were forcing some of them in the water.” The soldiers were making people get in the water. ”There it was.
