Volunteering is a fun, engaging and immersive opportunity for those who are involved in their community. When I started High School, volunteering became second nature to me. I have volunteered countless hours between National Honor Society and the United Way Youth Council. Volunteering with the Russell County High School National Honor Society is an amazing opportunity; Not only do we help our community, but we do it in a fun way. Throughout this past year, our NHS has engaged in numerous volunteer projects like: cleaning our school, repainting the school parking lots and assisting in Community Fall Festivals. While cleaning the school, I assisted in removing gum from walls, dusting our Board Room and hanging up several enthusiastic signs
