Throughout my years of school, I have learned that the area that I struggle with the most is writing papers. I have difficulty turning my thought into words for a paper. I always know what I want to address in the paper, but struggle finding the words to say. I also struggle because I am what some call a perfectionist. When I am writing I will constantly delete what I have said and find a new, better way to say it. This can be about how I word a sentence or simply the vocabulary. I spend most of my time caught up in the details. Another aspect I struggle with in writing is not distracting myself. I do not have this problem with other assignments, just papers. I believe it is because I dread writing so much, I make myself not want to do it.
