Should participation trophies exist?
Getting rewarded for everything doesn’t help you at all in life, so people need to learn how to work harder. Recently there has been arguments about if athletes, specifically kids should get participation trophies or not. On one side people think athletes should get participation trophies, and on the other side, people think that athletes should not get participation trophies. In my opinion, I believe that kids should not get participation trophies. Psychology Today with Jonathan Fader (website #2) says “Why give our kids trophies for showing up?’’ Kids shouldn't be handed Trophies for nothing.
