Arming teachers who are qualified to be armed should happen because shooters will be less adamant to shoot at a school has armed teachers, teachers can intervene before the police get there, and students should feel safe at school. Schools will be safer with teachers who are armed. They will have a chance to intervene and save lives before the police can be there to intervene. Yes, one downside is that some students may see guns and become scared but if you slowly allow the kids to become comfortable around the gun then, the student may just be comfortable enough to learn in the environment alongside the gun.
