For technological development we have been able to obtain a stand that enables us to present ourselves to the rest of the world. It is responsible for influencing a major part of our daily life. So, people have been moving forward with participatory culture that depreciates anonymity. A technology has lowered the barriers of anonymity surrounding us. People are no longer afraid of anonymous because technology explores the anonymity. Therefore, new media has many positive net impacts on our society; in fostering innovative participatory that depreciates anonymity.

Through anonymity people can find someone personal information and other things. For example of Sasha, someone found out the girl’s full name, address and her house number. Through MySpace her picture was posted and her boyfriend was discovered. It all was possible because of participatory culture and depreciated anonymity. Without depreciated anonymity people are not able to heck into personal information like Sasha’s name, address and house number. It all happened because of internet and social media.
