Sports. Football to hockey everyone has heard of them. We spend almost all of our Sunday getting prepared to watch our favorite team play. Its dreadful to see our favorite player get hurt, but It’s all part of the game, and that's why they get paid so much.Some people think that these athletes are exaggerated, but they are paid just enough. They are paid for doing dangerous things. Athletes should be paid millions for a game, but shouldn’t be paid more than doctors and firefighters because they are the real heroes for saving lives. Athletes are doing things to make a living, even if it's playing a sports game. They only have a couple of years to make money. That’s why I believe athletes are paid just enough.
After doing tons of research, I have come up with three facts to tell why athletes are paid just enough. To start us off, The toll a professional football athlete’s career takes on his/her body which means a lifetime of pain.Terry Butcher, he suffered a major laceration in a game when he ripped open his head after a collision with another player, but he kept going and now he has major headaches thanks to that game. Retired athletes are fixed for life money wise; they inane because of their injuries just look at Tony Romo he has had many back injuries, but he refuses to stop which will come back to haunt him. Next, up is that athletes don't just take the money for themselves, they put it into charities. Lebron James helps get college scholarship for kids who wouldn’t offered to go.

After you read the persuasive text, you see why athletes are not overestimated. Athletes are just like ordinary people who pay taxes and bills just like one would, but they also give to charities, doctors, and trainers out of their own pocket that is why I believe they are not
