A possible occupation for me in the future is a doctor because I enjoy working with people, I have a passion for science and I am dedicated to the work I do.

According to Career Cruising, I learned that one of the suggested qualifications needed to become a doctor is volunteering in hospitals or nursing homes. In elementary school, my class entertained elders in a nursing home for 2 hours. This experience made me realize that I enjoyed working with others and am willing to give them advice on an issue. This information helps me pursue this career because my result for the Multiple Intelligence test was interpersonal smart. One of the skills of someone that is interpersonal smart is that they work well with others. I like working with others because I can listen to their opinions and reflect upon them. When you’re a doctor, you need to work with nurses and other physicians in diagnosing a patient's illness. Therefore, collaboration is a skill that I have, which will help me become a doctor.

This information helps me make my decision of becoming a doctor because my result for the True Colours test is Gold, which means I am hardworking. This is evident in my life because I am always dedicated to the work I do and go beyond what is expected by my teachers or peers. Doctors work long hours and need to be able to control their stress.
